No. Keep your checking account at your bank. Your merchant account from Omega will direct the deposits into your existing bank account.

iii. How do I apply for a merchant account?

Call one of our friendly staff at Omega at 1-800-333-6237. We will fill out a merchant application with you. There is no cost to apply for a merchant account.

iv. How much does it cost to have a merchant account?

It depends on how you will be accepting credit cards from your customers. Call us at 1-800-333-6237 to discuss the best plan for your business. Omega offers low rates with no long term commitments.

v. How much are your credit card machines?

vi. Do you have 24-7 customer service / technical support for your merchants?

vii. I already have a credit card machine. Can I use it with your service?

Yes. Omega can reprogram your existing credit card machine for free. Please let us know what kind of equipment you currently have.

viii. I already have a merchant account with another processor. Can you lower my processing
costs?

ix. How long does the approval process take?

The approval process is fast. If we receive your application by 2 pm CST, we can usually get you merchant account same day. Your equipment can be programmed the following business day. You are now ready to accept credit cards!

x. What credit cards can I accept?

Omega can set your business up to accept all 4 major cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. American Express and Discover require separate approvals.
